#wiseTalk: The Case of Andy Kawa v SAPS

Hosted by Onica Nonhlanhla Makwakwa and Brenda Madumise, Wise Talk is a live social commentary broadcast of social issues impacting the development of women. In this episode, the hosts discuss the case of Andy Kawa against the South African Police Service. In Port Elizabeth, Kawa was sexually assaulted, only to later report the matter to the police who failed to accurately investigate. For this reason, she sued them and won her case. SAPS has launched an appeal of this case resulting in Onica and Brenda interrogating the details of this action in Wise Talk.
