#wiseTalk: Femicide & Its Impact ON The Economy

This episode pertains to the crisis of gender-based violence national crisis in South Africa. Brenda Madumise-Pajibo and Onica Makwakwa both lead this discussion through a live stream on Facebook. 

 In this episode, the duo comment on femicide and how it impacts the economy. This is in relation to the 2019 State Of The Nation Address given by President Cyril Ramaphosa. In addition, they discuss what happens in sexual offences courts in South Africa. This was raised in relation to the Kofi Olomide concert that was later cancelled.
