Shifting the Economic Power: Articulating A Feminist Economic Strategy to Address Gendered Violence 

Pillar five (5) of the National Strategic Plan (NSP) on Gender Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) addresses economic power and economic justice as a strategy towards preventing and addressing the existing scourge of GBV. To enhance greater understanding of what this pillar calls for and increase understanding of the required shift in economic and sociopolitical power, the partner organizations commissioned a technical paper to guide the development of the necessary feminist economist thought to this strategy. We therefore invite you to a presentation and discussion on this topic.
